How to get around Morocco in a wheelchair

Morocco is a wonderful destination, but public transport is rarely adapted: most petits taxis, buses and trains have steps, narrow doors and no space for a wheelchair. Medinas add cobblestones, slopes and narrow lanes. For wheelchair users, the most comfortable way to travel is a private accessible vehicle with a driver who knows where the car can stop closest to your hotel, riad or monument.

That is exactly what we do. You book once, we send a vehicle adapted to your wheelchair, and the driver takes care of the route, the parking, the luggage and the assistance at each stop.

Door-to-door wheelchair transport

Our service starts at your door and ends at your destination's door: airport arrivals hall, hotel entrance, hospital, conference centre, restaurant or the nearest accessible point of a medina. The driver helps the passenger board by ramp or lift, secures the wheelchair, loads the luggage and repeats everything in reverse on arrival.

What to tell us when booking

A few details let us send the right vehicle the first time:

• Wheelchair type (manual, folding, electric) and its approximate width and weight
• Whether the passenger can transfer to a seat or must travel seated in the wheelchair
• Number of passengers travelling with the wheelchair user
• Flight or ship details, so the driver can follow delays
• Any extra equipment: walker, mobility scooter, oxygen, medical luggage
