What is a car service for a day?

A car service for a day means you book a vehicle and a professional driver for a set number of hours — typically a half day or a full day. Instead of paying ride by ride, you have your own driver who follows your schedule, waits while you visit, and takes you on to the next stop. It is the most flexible way to organise a busy day in a Moroccan city or a day trip into the countryside.

Your driver for the day picks you up at your hotel, riad or office, and stays with you until you are dropped back in the evening. You can plan the whole day in advance or decide as you go.

What's included in our daily chauffeur service

Your day booking includes the vehicle, the driver and their time, fuel and motorway tolls on the agreed route, and waiting time at each stop. Entrance tickets, guides and meals are not included unless agreed, so you choose how to spend your day. If you want to extend the day or add a destination, simply ask; we confirm any change before it applies.

Half day or full day?

A half day (around four to five hours) is enough for a city tour, a few meetings or a short excursion near the city. A full day (around eight to ten hours) suits longer excursions such as Marrakech to Essaouira, Fes to Chefchaouen or a business day with meetings in two cities. If you are unsure, describe your plan and we will recommend the right duration.

Why hire a driver for the day rather than taxis?

Taking several taxis in a day means waiting, negotiating and explaining each destination again. Taxis also cannot leave the city for excursions. With a driver for the day, the car is always there, your things stay in the vehicle, and the driver knows the whole plan. For families and groups, a single minivan is usually much more comfortable — and often cheaper — than several taxis.

How to book your driver for the day

How to plan a good day with your driver

Start early. In summer especially, the morning is the best time for walks, medinas and outdoor sites, and the car's air conditioning is welcome for the afternoon drive. Share the main stops you want to see when booking, then leave some flexibility: your driver may suggest a quieter time to visit a site, a lunch stop locals like, or a scenic road that adds only a few minutes.

Keep valuables with you when you leave the vehicle, but feel free to leave shopping, jackets and water in the car between stops. If you plan to visit a medina or a monument in depth, consider a licensed local guide for that part of the day; your driver will drop you at the meeting point and pick you up afterwards.

Daily car service for business

A daily car service is especially efficient for business days with meetings in different districts. In Casablanca, for example, moving between Sidi Maarouf, the city centre, Ain Diab and Casablanca Finance City can take a long time by taxi at peak hours. With a driver for the day, the car waits outside each meeting and you move on as soon as you're done, with your laptop and documents safely in the vehicle.
