Why tour Morocco with a private driver?
Morocco rewards travellers who move at their own pace. Group tours follow fixed schedules and crowded buses; self-drive means navigating unfamiliar roads, parking near medinas and long hours behind the wheel. Private driver tours offer the best of both: the freedom to choose where and when, and the comfort of a professional driver who knows the country.
Your driver picks you up at your hotel, adapts the day to your energy and interests, stops where you want to take photos or have lunch, and gets you to your next accommodation safely. You spend your time enjoying Morocco, not organising it.
Driver concierge: more than a ride
Our driver concierge approach means we help you plan, not just drive. Before your trip, we discuss your interests, the time available and your travel style, then suggest a realistic itinerary with driving times and recommended stops. During the tour, your driver is your local point of contact: suggesting a good café on the road, arranging a stop at a viewpoint, or adjusting the plan if the weather changes.
Need help with practical things? We can recommend official licensed guides for medinas and historic sites, suggest restaurants, and coordinate pickups with your riads and hotels. You get one contact on WhatsApp for the whole trip.

Planning your itinerary
Distances in Morocco are larger than they look on a map, and mountain roads take time. A good rule is to plan no more than four to five hours of driving per day so you have time to enjoy the places you visit. For example, Fes to Chefchaouen takes around three and a half to four hours, Marrakech to Essaouira around three hours, and Marrakech to Ouarzazate over the Atlas around four hours with stops.
Tell us how many days you have and what you would like to see; we will propose an itinerary that balances driving and discovery.
What's included in our private driver tours
Your quote includes the vehicle, the driver for the agreed days, fuel and motorway tolls on the planned route. We tell you clearly whether the driver's accommodation and meals are included on multi-day tours. Hotels, entrance fees, guides and your meals are booked and paid separately, so you stay in control of your budget.

Vehicles for couples, families and groups
Couples and solo travellers usually choose a comfortable sedan. Families and small groups of four to seven travel best in a minivan with room for luggage. Groups of eight to seventeen can tour together in a minibus. All vehicles are air-conditioned — essential in summer — and maintained for long distances.

Best time of year for a private driver tour
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable seasons for touring Morocco: mild temperatures, green landscapes in spring and clear skies in autumn. Summer is hot inland, especially in Marrakech, Fes and the south, but very pleasant on the coast; a private air-conditioned vehicle makes summer touring much easier. Winter is mild on the coast and in Marrakech by day, but cold in the Atlas, where snow can occasionally affect mountain passes.
Ramadan, national holidays and major festivals can change opening hours and traffic. Tell us your dates and we will take them into account when suggesting your itinerary.
Combining tours with airport transfers
The easiest tours start and end at an airport. Fly into Casablanca and out of Marrakech, or into Tangier and out of Fes, and your driver collects you on arrival and drops you for your departure, with the whole route in between. This avoids backtracking and makes the most of every day. Tell us your flight times and we will build the itinerary around them.
Our driver concierge team keeps track of each day's timing, so pickups at each riad and hotel happen exactly when planned.
